Import, VAT & Customs Fees

Now that the UK is no longer in the EU, the way that VAT is charged has changed.

For non UK customers, the only change that you will see is how VAT is charged, you are no longer charged VAT at the UK rate (20%). This is now removed and you will be charged by your local customs office at your countries VAT rate. The carrier will also charged a small handling fee, typically this is around £15, however it can vary.

If your local VAT rate is lower than 20%, this change is beneficial to you as you will no longer pay the UK 20% rate.

If you are a VAT registered business outside of the UK, you can claim the VAT back as normal.

Please note that failure to pay import fees will result in both outbound and return postage charges being deducted from any refunds issued. Carriers will contact you using your provided email and contact number at checkout, please ensure these are input correctly.
